Default Futaba 401 gyro

My Raptor crashed and after I got it back together everything runs well, but my futaba 401 acts like it is in heading hold but the red LED doesn't blink to show it is in heading hold. Nothing has changed on my setup as far as the gain and sensitivity. Should I send to futaba for repair or just get a new one?

Hi, what do you mean it doesn't blink?

Solid light is heading hold then it should double flash when you move the rudder stick.

My bad. Got confused on the light, but when I was hovering it had a tail twich going on and I'm not real sure what was going on with that.

Could be the belt, check the tension. Could be the tuning, make sure its not running too rich.

Also make sure your servo arm is sized such as the limit pot is near or slightly above 100

Everything went well for three flights untill I landed the last time. When I killed the motor the tail stopped and made a sound like a bad bearing. I have replaced all the bearings on the head and starter shafts. I'm thinking it maybe the oneway in the centrifical clutch.  Any thoughts?
