RE: HOW LONG SHOULD A CLUTCH LAST?
According to Raptortechnique.com webpage in the clutch repair section, the stock TT clutch can last anywhere from 20 flights to 200 flights. But he flies 3D. If you dont do 3D i think it would last a long time. I have about 20 gallons (not sure how many flights) on my 30 V2 with no problems. And thats including a crash where the engine was left running wide open for about 45 seconds until i could run to it. Sure was an awful long 45 seconds.

If you don't hot start or spool up too quick or full throttle lawn dart, your clutch should last a long time. I've done cases of fuel through mine.

I don't really see why 3D flying should affect clutch life....unless it is close to slipping anyhow.
I had about 200 flights out of my first one and it was still going strong until I planted it and the throttle jammed open. Little pieces of hot metal were everywhere - a very sad sight....
