R30v2 canopy on v1 frame??
It seems that the v1 canopies are going by the wayside. I want to try my hand at painting a canopy, does anyone know if the v2 canopy will fit the v1 frame, are any mods needed?
Thanks.
Thanks.

It probably won't fit right as the cannopy supports on the V2 are MUCH shorter than the V1. Otherwise, you could get the V2 canopy supports and replace the V1 supports. I've never had the opprtunity to place V1 and V2 frames side by side, but I know they are pretty close. You definitely cannot match the half of a V1 to the half of a V2 since the bolt pattern on the frames is not the same.

I'm planning on being there. It's at the Gateway field right? What time for start and finish? How much? Bring the heli, don't bring the heli?

Gateway Field. I'll be there at 7, I had to run them off when it got dark last year. 15 bucks includes bbq lunch, 5 lunch only, hell yes bring the heli, its a fly in not a watch in.

I've got what your asking about. Just put on the long V2 canopy supports and it goes straight on.
Getting a V1 fuel tank is my current hassell
