Stretched Raptor 90
 

Has anyone stretched their Raptor 90 SE? After a few trials and errors, this is my final result. Still have to fine tune the TC and PC but the mod does work. I'm using Align 800 torque shaft (drive shaft) and :o 3/4" pvc pipe for the boom, zip ties for control rod guides :o. Couldn't find the correct OD and ID aluminum tube so this will have to do for now. From center of main shaft to center of tail shaft is exactly 1m ( 39 3/8" ). I did messed up on the measurement of the boom and have to cut down the torque shaft ends a little so overall length could be another 10mm or so longer. Main blades are Curtis Youngblood Radix 710mm and tail blades are stock TRex 600's 95mm. Snowball effect also prompted me to stretch my Trex 600 to 700. The Rappy is actually 4" longer than the Align but you can't tell in the picture. Let me know what you guys think.
