Vess balance ring
I just tried a Vess balance ring for the first time on a DA 120. If you have not tried one yet, you should. They work great! It gives a very accurate balance. Its much better than trying to use a clear spray on the light side.
I do wish they would make one for a DLE 30.

I went to the Vess site, they look interesting, where does it mount, on top or underneath prop? also, do you use it attached to the prop and place the prop with the balacing ring on a balncer like the DuBro Model? and screw in the set screws where you need weight to balance? what keeps the ring on when you have it on the balancer?

RE: Vess balance ring
Here is a shot of it on the balancer. They say its for balancing prop and spinner. I am using it on a plane without a spinner. It really smoothed things out. In this picture I have the prop bolts run through the balancer. You don't have to do that. The cone and rods that come with the balancer will hold it all together.
