Showtime 90 with DLE20cc
Just installed the DLE 20cc on a Showtime 90. The Walbro carb is a great carb but hooking up the throttle and choke can be tasking. I used some arms from a a helicopter (Titan X50) and made a way to get a true linear action throttle. I also used a servo arm and modified it to make the choke easier to use. In addition I added an LED light in line with the ignition to show on and off.
The showtime is a great flying airplane and I hope the DLE is a good match.

The showtime is great with the 100 saito, the 82 would fly it no problem but the top end performance may be thin. I flew my first one with a Saito 1.25 and it was awesome! I beleive the DLE 20 would be an ideal choice and economical on gas as well. Im gonna test fly my showtime this weekend so we will see how it goes.

It was pretty easy. I removed the butterfly off the choke and the shaft came right out. Be careful though there is a small ballbearing and spring that puts tension on the choke shaft. Dont lose it!. Then I just used a std JR servo arm with the center reamed out to slide on the shaft and used a small screw (2mm or 2-56) bolted on the choke arm. Then I reinserted the choke shaft into the carb, (dont forget the ball bearing and spring) and then screwed the butterfly plate back on. Works Very Well!!

I have put a few flights on the plane and I am very impressed with the way this engine runs! This is a great option for a wide variety of planes! I am very happy with it!
