Default Lets see those Crazy Pilots

We've seen Kits being built this winter.....
We've seen a great bunch of trailers.....

Let's see some of those crazy pilots that are piloting our planes.

I just finished my first kit, and ended up with ....

HARRY POTTER BECOMES A 4*60 PILOT

I figure if he can ride a broom

and he can get a car to fly

he couldn't help but keep our plane in the air

Default I knew Harry would get bored looking

down the nose all the time, so I had to let him check the right and check the left sides out

You know, this is a safety thing..........

Sorry I do not have a scanner or digital camera, so I don't have a picture. I just completed my red 4*60 and used a Super Mario Bobble Head statue for my pilot. Had to replace the spring in the neck, and also shorten it so it would fit, but it looks great. Red hat, white gloved hands, and a blue scarf with little white stars on it. Hated to cut him up cause the figure came in original container, but still makes a great pilot.

Meet the captain of my GP ultimate. I actually finished this plane last year, but the project this year (gp learjet) doesn't have a canopy for a pilot. It's hard to find a troll anymore. Actually had to raid the girlfriend's old toy box.

Bubba is my Four-Star 60 pilot and except for one hard landing has done a fine job. This is my second plane and my first building project.

I have always had off the wall pilots in my aircraft. This one I found in a discount bin at a toy store and had to have it. In case you don't recognize him, thats Steve Irwin, the ol' crocodile hunter himself. He flew many a flight in the cockpit of my Somthin' Extra.

Default Lord of the Bipe

You asked for a crazy pilot, I'll give you one. This one gets all kinds of comments out at my field. In fact, it has been said that this pilot is the reason why my Bipe hasn't had much success in the air (dies at full throttle).

http://home.attbi.com/~drafter/Ultimate/Ultimate07.JPG

For those of you that haven't figured out what this menacing creature is, it's half of an Uraki (sp?) warrior from the movie "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings". I say it's half of one because I had introduce him to my table saw to make him fit in the canopy.

Lemme know what you guys think of this one.
