I just completed my Decathlon that I covered with Worldtex, which I am told is the same as Solartex and I sprayed it with Latex paints, no primer. I am very happy with the results. If you are going to do any taping for other colors, you will need to let the first color dry for at least 3 or 4 days and when you are all done with colors, you will need to clear coat the whole thing. Lustrekote is Tower's paint that matches Monokote.
I get a sneaking suspicion it is on it's way out for there is not a tremendous selection of colors anymore.

Horizon has already discontinued the Ultracote paint

Thanks for the input guys. I've finished a Camel with Latex, but I used polyester dress lining which was sealed with nitra and butyrate dopes. By the way, e-power guys can skip the clear coat step (-:
