Hi, if you have the height,install a suspended platform ,open front and back,hanging from the ceiling,whilst running on sliding door tracks. This gives room for tools etc.on the inside of the platform. Maybe a fluorescent light underneath. The movable platform allows working from both sides of the bench[and ends]. I have a high ceiling, so i installed a false ceiling below the normal one,giving room for balsa etc. I am sure you would be pleased with the versatility of this modification
