Well, I finely got my Juckenburg E-100 kit from Willy. Two big thumbs up to Willy! I will be using a Tamiya King Tiger for the electronics and lower hull, and the Juckenburg kit for the rest. I will be taking the same rout as a member from BTN. Hope to have it done soon!

This guy did the same thing...tamiya king tiger and the resen kit.....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uqsy1SMlSA4

He used kt road wheels....11 on a side rather than the 8 per side that was on the tank...here is his build thread.....google translate is your friend...

http://www.battletanksnederland.nl/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4016

he did a great job on the paint....hope mine looks as nice.

I always liked that kit Willy was selling. Didn't know he still had them.

It's starting the tank season early this year with at least 2 resin builds here!

Now I need to get mine launched soon too!

Any idea of a paint scheme, like maybe a 1946 WWII panzer green?

Maybe a two color camo that they call "Octopus" using dark yellow or red brown as the 2nd color on a all green base color.

If he's going the route of the btn fella then I would guess its going to be the standard KT stuff. Really looking forward to it. It's a build I toyed with attempting. I have a feeling you will be tempting me to try it again when I see some build pics!

Well, after a crazy last part of the year I'm ready to start my E-100. Opened my Tamiya King Tiger box and I'm missing my flash unit and recoil unit. Ok, no big deal. I will call and get them to send me new ones. So I deside to check my RC and Battle system and find out that my MF-01 unit is dead. Not really feeling the Tamiya goodness at the moment.

Where did you get your Tamiya Tiger II? Seems it may have been a return that was accidentally shipped as new?

I love the modeling part of this hobby but I hate the electronics of it....I still can not figure out how to make the elevation work on my clark board...thinking I need to go with futaba rather than spectrum.....decided to get back to work on my tank today....screw the electrics..........
just taking to long..

you started the hull yet?

Not on paper and on the internet. The Curator of the Patton Museum told me that it was taken back to the UK and finished using the plans and parts. When tested it scared the crap out of them and the US Army.Increased angle + low profile + better transmission +  low weight(vs. the Maus) = a, and I quote " Line breaker". It was then scraped and most of the paper work was destroyed. I didn't get to ask him much more because then he said we could climb in the King Tiger. All I know is, if it entered the war and used correctly, it would have been a Monster.
