take off the body kit, the rediculous wing and the graphics and its an awsome car! Ive seen a toyota supra run an 8 second 1/4 mile at 169mph...i love those cars. they should be left stock on the outside though in my opinion.

I like Hot Rods and Exotics (not Exodic). That Bugatti Veron kicks ass. I don't care for tuners and I do own a '95 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST, but it's not a tuner, its stock. I think both "Fast and Furious" movies suck except for the Dodge Charger. I saw a preview for another "Fast and Furious" movie. Drifters in Japan, another stupid thing to do with cars, drifting. I'm sure the tire companies love it, they can sell more tires. And I also now drive a 2006 Dodge Magnum R/T with the 340 hp Hemi which is also stock. I haven't even broken it in yet. I have it just over a week now.

this is such a stupid pole cause what are we comparing? Looks, speed, cornering, acceleration, top speed? If looks alone, then the Hot rods win flat out

If American muscle is what you mean by "hotrod", then I guess I'll have to go with that. Nothing else gets my blood pumping more than a rip-snorting V8 snapping my head back and slamming my body into the seat. It's hard to go back to anything else once you have a nicely set up V8.

i just had to vote for concepts. they're completely outragious compared to the rest of them. a car that is just too impractical to be produced is just right for me.

I grew up in the years when all my friends were driving American Heavy Metal. My first car was a '65 Mustang, and the school parking lot was a mix of Mustangs, 'Cudas, Chargers, GTX and Roadrunners, Olds 442's, Camaros and Chevelles, with the occasional '55 and '57 Chevy thrown in. A true American Graffitti. I have to stay true to my roots regarding hot rod vs tuner car. But there are tuners I think are pretty hot, but I prefer the rear wheel drive ones, few that there are.

The Mustang is legendary. It's part of automotive history and is a piece of the American dream. This car is a lot more than just performance to Mustang owners, and that's what auto enthusiasm is all about. Not everything is about slamming your manhood on the table. Being an auto enthusiast is about passion and devotion. Maybe some day you'll see the light. And I hope you do, because this hobby is getting filled with too many rude people that insult eachother.

diesel performance, i cant keep gas in a V8, and most imports cost to much to get them faster than a highly modified V8, but if price is no problem than you can go farther for a "performance street car" with some import type car, supra, 350z, maybe even an M3, those cost a **** load of $$$ to boost though...
all have there ups and downs

800hp wrx? an sti? there arent many of those running around, there is that guy running twin gt30's and a twin screw supercharger on his sti putting out over 1000 though,
ive got the twin screw and a single gt30 turbo on my integra.
what kinda rx7? an FD body? my roommate used to have one of them, no where near 600hp though, maybe like 425, it was running high 12's on street tires, scary driving that thing on street tires...

the rx7 is a 91 turbo with a built up engine. the wrx has alot of custom parts, like a custom twin turbo setup.

But how many times can you pull up to a '70 Nova and get whooped compared to a '70 Skyline and get whooped? I love both but Muscle cars can more than likely kill you on the track, drag or road course. It takes more money and time to really get a good 500+hp on todays base imports.

LOL.... OK...... King of what? How many stock imports can beat a stock 'vette? How many modded imports can beat a stock 'vette?

Ricers... is there anything they don't know? I guess more moving parts at higher rpms is better than more displacement at lower rpm and less moving parts......

BTW, my lawnmower has about the same cid/HP as the average ricer and sounds better..........

I think some of the road racing mags now have the Corvette at the top of the list for good sports cars. Most car's with overhead camshafts don't even need them. They are only good for high revs. Most stock cars have done nothing with them other than to cost more, or so they can use that engine in some racing class. If your revs are less than 10K or so you only need stiffer springs and/or rolling tappets and light rockers and pushrods.
