Hi Mr. Pe Reivers

Because the Mobile 1 2T Racing isn't being produced anymore, can I use Motul 800 without any problems? Is it of any importance if I Motul 800 RR or OR? Which do you recommend?
These types of oil are easy to be found in my town. In Romania I can find Putoline oil but I have to order it and wait a couple of days.
I've seen about all you can see on this forum about Motul 800, I need a last confirmation, because the engine is new and does not want to lose my warranty for it.
Thanks.

Regards,
Mugurel

At one time in the past, MVVS has confirmed that Motul 800 was a good oil to use in their engines.
However, Mobil 2T oil still is available from MVVS, and I keep some in stock as well as long as MVVS will supply it to me.

Thanks for the reply, I use Motul 800 is the best way for me even if it is more expensive than Mobil 1.

Hello Mr. Pe Reivers,

In the end though I found Mobil1 Racing. The problem is that it has another design, different color (red) and another smell. I put a picture. The rest is the same that is JASO / FC. You know this new package? It is the same oil? Thanks for your help.

Best regards,
Mugurel

The Label is the same as the oil I have in stock. Oil colour in my stock is red, but that is a dye issue. Oils in this class have a very non-distinct colour, and are dyed to personalize/recognise them.

Hi,
today in Romania the weather was good,20 degrees. In these conditions I and my friend Jimmy managed to running in my MVVS40 CC. We made this operation like in the manual. After 20 minutes I obtained 7200 rpm with a propeller Graupner G Sonic 20x10. During the running in I opened ''high'' with 1/2 spin. I used muffler 3271. After this period all the starts were at first or second spin of the propeller. The gas I used was OMW 95 Octane and the oil was Mobile 1 2T Racing full synthetic. For a start,I think it was a good result.
MVVS are the best, they produce excellent engines.

Finally thanks for your help Mr. Pe Reivers.

Best regards,
Mugurel
