my Nylint 1:6 Jeep Rock Crawler
Anyone else have one of these? I know they had gotten pretty popular a few years ago, but I dont see much about them anymore.
Ayway, I just picked this one up for $20 on Craigslist... The battery was dead, but my local batteries plus had the exact battery in stock for like $30 or something. I soldered up some traxxas connectors to the truck and stock battery.
I also ran it for a little while on 2 - 2s lipos conected in series for a total of 4s, and while it lacks the weight from the stock battery that sometimes helps, it more than makes up for it with the added power.
I just got finished swapping out the drive belts with tighter o-rings and the difference was night and day. I also locked the diffs in low gear since I dont intend to use it for anything other crawling. I have several brushless 50-60 mph cars and I have to admit I am having more fun with this than I have had in a long time!
Anyone else have one? have any ideas or suggestions. Id love some feedback!
Thanks,
M.

I just got a Traxxus Summit 1/10 and adapted the Scorpian body onto it ,It fits and looks good ,but it`s heavy for the suspention of the summit.
