I have a 7.4v 1650mah lipo battery for my 1/18 truck, could i use this in my sled? Would it be the same as a higher mah lipo just with a shorter run time? I've been looking around for one but I'm not sure if it's worth doing so maybe this will help me decide.

Ya I did, I don't think that's the type of sled we're discussing but I got a kick out of it anyways.

the lipo made quite a big difference, it's definatly better for power and the run times are about the same. The battery is also a third of the weight as the nimh battery. I'd still like a bigger one but this will do for now.

No, but you can have some aluminum, templates for the suspension and use my band saw and bench grinder.

Here's a cheap brushless combo and lipo battery, has anyone used one of these or heard anything about them.
