What size is the rim?

I'm wondering if it would be possible to boil the tyre off and maybe fit another tyre.

Yeah I think so, they don't even seem to be glued on or anything. Or do you mean taking the WHOLE wheel off with rim and all? Because the front ones you can definitely take off (they are screwed on) but I don't believe the back wheels come off easily. And 2 1/4in is the diameter btw (:

Here is my contribution, I decided to get one.

I got this, and added Venom 2.2 tires too it, helps a million times, unfortunatly the tires do catch on the shocks, so i will shave some knobbles off on the inside to help with that.

also ordered 2 x http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I'm aware of no reverse.

i have got to get to hacking on mine.... i junked all of my smaller random parts when i moved a few months back. i'm kicking myself now. i'm willing to drop $50 on a $30 but i need a parts list with directions first. i'll hobbyking this thing out. if it had a little more power and twice as much steering id be fine. if i had a 9.6 pack would it be able to pull its self better? everytime i climb something it runs out of power at the top.

Does anyone kno where to get gears for the maisto crawler? i upgraded to 7.2v 2200mah and it has gobs of power. But it is reaking havik on the gears in the front. It gives me goosebumps. Anyways i wanna find some steal ones, any ideas? Wanna uprade motor and electronics but i KNOW the gears wont handle that if it cant handle the stock elecs. Any suggestions? And heres a pic. Just mounted this body gotta do some work, gunna take away the whole Big foot look. Going for some back yard monster creation. Tomorrow im going to get stiffers springs if ACE hardware has any. Ive wore the stockers slap out. The torc makes for body role that cause the tires to scrub bad! Cant even drive it as of now! lol! So please, any ideas are appreciated.

i have one of these. kids lost the remote.
i have a traxxas remote, xl-5 ESC and a basic 1/10 servo.
using the traxxas radio and ESC is easy, but i cant figure out and easy way to mount the steering servo and make the linkage.
any tips?

Can someone help me out with mine? I've tried installing a 9.6v battery but as soon as I make contact it takes off on it's own, my buddy's did this with a 18v Dewalt battery. I now have his and used it for the 4-wheel steering I did, after doing this it seems to have less power while turning and actually turn worse then before (my AAs may have been too weak). I just can't seem to figure out why it starts going on its own with the 9.6v, others have done it. Thanks in advance.
