RE: T-Maxx 2.5R IMPOSSIBLE to tune.
Hi everyone, sorry for the neglect of the thread but work has been nuts.
No, I haven't figured this thing out yet.
Rooker, I checked my pinch at 2 to 2.25 seconds.
Once things let up I'm going to try to get to the LHS and get some different fuel and a hotter glow plug or two. It's worth a shot.

I think what he means is the mechanical pinch between your piston and sleeve. A good engine should have at least a little tightness at top dead center, although some (like my sirio s27) will still runawesome with none. How did you time 2-2.25 seconds anyway?......LOL, I think you may need to tear the engine down and check the conrod and bearings if you haven't already. Either one can cause your engine's timing to be off and bad bearings can cause the conrod to scrape the bottom of the crankcase, ruining everything.

Ah, I thought he was referring to pinch as in pinching the fuel line and timing how long it idles before it starves out to see if you're running too lean or rich. I was saying that it idles between 2 seconds and 2 and a quarter seconds before it croaked. I'll pull the engine apart here in a little while.
