You should get a 2.5 or 3.3with manifold and a conversion kit. You'll be glad you did.

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGGP7&P=0 Heres an option too. Its a little more expensive than the HPI but its an OS. My buddy just switched from a trx 15 to this in his 1st gen maxx. Quite the difference. Bolt on too with its side exhaust and rotary carb. Just throwin it out there.

Not until its broke in it wont really be. His just got a gallon through it and its to the point of 2 pulls with finger over exhaust, glow plug heater on, then within 3 pulls its started.

Most engines are easier to turn over and will fire up better if warmed with a hair dryer, you won't have any trouble with that os.

I had an .18CVRX years ago. Absolutely hated it. Sold it and bought a 2.5R which is still going to this day.

IMHO, I would send the .15 into traxxas and have them send you a new 2.5R for $85. Can't beat that deal.

Not at all.........http://www.traxxas.com/v2/powerup/part/?id=1 Well, it's on this page, can't get the part # for ya tho. I would go this route because it gives you options.
