Yeah I have been driving the TMAXX for a year and the only thing I have ever broken is a shock tower, and it was -20c and landed on the lid. I really do wish it had reverse because I am the bulk of traxxas drivers and don't make a perfect turn every time.

ps. can I add reverse to the 4908 extended chassis or will I have to drill holes and modify for the servo/tranny?

You don't need or want reverse. Its more trouble than its worth with nitro.

Electric may be a better option for you. The traxxas transmissions either have a stupid sensor that does not work half the time or if you remove it the driver can accidentally destroy some gears. I still have the reverse gears from my .15 Maxx because it was a better setup than the current transmissions.

WOW this thread is like the blind leading the blind, sorry guys just MO
Ive never seen a bunch of newbys talk ''poo'' to each other and the bickering, my god...

I agree with inf3rn0gt the savage is said to be the ulitmate basher he is speeking from experance. jands29 im sure he knew this was the Traxxas thread, It even says it at the top of the page, but thanks for the reminder???

Lets just say Traxxas is not all that & a revo is not all that. im happy to have a friendly debait with google searches if thats what u want

Traxxas drivers cant drive, well derr thats why they make entry level cars.
ReaperGN so does that mean u are a really good driver??? would love to see a video of ur skills, rember it doesent exist with out proof.
''You don't need or want reverse. Its more trouble than its worth with nitro.'' is that a fact? i respectly disagree
Allso seem u have a thing against the revo gearboxes with reverse, its this based on experance, just asking dont take offence.

SpeedFreakG1 what type of crawler (scale looking or not) price range???
im a fan of anything made by Axial.
Nice of you to share your wisdom but it seems you're almost a year too late.

@SpeedFreakG1 I know you're a new member but you probably could have made a new thread for this rather then revive an old one and trick poor ol phmaximus into replying to everyone on it [sm=wink_smile.gif][sm=wink_smile.gif]
