Default Revo vs Tmaxx

Ijust bought a used Revo, ton's of hop-ups.I have a hopped-up Tmaxx already that Ibuilt. I'm just curious, without driving both, what do y'all think is the better truck. Consider the fact that they are both hoppe-up equally, what would be the better race/bashing truck?

I tried to post a photo of the Tmaxx just for the hay of it. I'm new to all this forum and RC stuff lol.

the revo is gonna be the better race/basher if its set up for racing. For just bashing the tmaxx is better, but if you wanted to you could make your tmaxx into a racer. ive seen a few at my local track and i was amazed at what a correctly set up tmaxx was capable of.Also welcome to the forum this place is amazing for info.

I would be fairly surprised if you get that amount for it.

Yeah i'm being very optimistic. It's hard to sell a Nitro and make a few bucks. But, I actually dont want to sell it cause I built it from scratch and really like it. I just threw it on to see if some rich dude would buy it and then I will buy a nice brushless system.

If it goes I'm very happy, and if not I'm very happy. It's win win lol!!

the tmaxx is not better for bashing, no matter which way you cut it the revo is tougher by a landslide. on top of being tougher the revo is also way better at handling,-scott

How much does listing that on ebay cost you? With the buy it now/listing/pictures/reserve fees? Just curious. I will be posting my max up on the bay soon...with a buy it now of 500 + shipping which I think is reasonable considering the upgrades my max has.

It will cost me $30.00 if I sell if for $615.00.  If you put it for auction I believe it's much cheaper to sell, like $2.00 but you run the risk of not making what u want.

I just sold a used Summit for $450 and it cost me 25 or so to sell it. But it sold in 6 hours and I needed the money for this Revo. That was the first thing I ever sold so Im just learning.

PS: make sure to use PAYPAL for shipping cause u save money.

I tried to sell an ipad on ebay for 700 and it didnt sell. but they still billed me for the 25 dollar listing even tho it didn't sell. I ended up selling it a bit cheaper to a close friend.

well i was just going off my experiences with my old revo. it wasnt as good of a truck to me as other people revo's are to them if that makes sense. It was a tuff truck for sure butt everytime it landed kinda odly some silly little part would break and ruin the day. i dont have that problem with my maxx ever. im not bashing the revo at all because its a great truck but i prefer a maxx for my type of bashing.

The Maxx is still king of the MT's. Unless another MT craze happens then it will probably stay that way.

I run both T-maxx's and Revo's and can set both up for just about any conditions and run well. IMO the Maxx is better on asphalt and the Revo can't be beat for dirt track racing. The Maxx can be built with far more different personalities than any 2 other rides out there put together and for sure it is nor the al time best seller for nothing.

If you want the ultimate basher, then you want a savage. Flame all you want, I run with a revo guy and a t-maxx guy, and stock on stock, they break stuff all day long and I just keep on filling up the tank and crushing.... I have owned all 3, Savvy, Revo, Maxx....

If you read the post is says, "Revo vs TMAXX" not Traxxas vs HPI.

Oh, by the way: Traxxas Revo 3.3 Wins RC Pro Series National Title; Win Marks 6th RC Pro title, 8 National Titles In All for Revo

Yeah. Traxxas owner can't drive. And Unicorn's prefer to drive HPI.

I said the bulk of people who buy traxxas. Not some. Not all. Not a few. But the bulk. If your having trouble understanding the difference between them I suggest google.

And I could say my Blue Eagle LS was world truck pulling champion. That's better than any national championship. But in the back yard no one really cares if their RC was a champion of anything other than being fun.

im one of the people that can drive traxxas vehicles and any other rc you got been driving for a good while.the revo is the better racer and is a decent basher but 3d chassis has weak spots mainly around motor mount. The t maxx is a great basher was built for bashing around but not for racing but can be set up for racing but its not the best. The savage is a good basher also and very strong but in my apinoin its to compacted
