Yeah, I doubt 65, maybe with a big block, and carbon fiber parts, and having it geared seriously low (or is it high, i always forget), they way too much to get them up to those kinds of speeds stock, and the engines dont put out much power. that being said I love my tmaxx, and wouldnt trade it for anything (well mabaye a redcat built up redcat rampage Xt, or a Hpi Baja)

it would need to be geared high. low gearing is for stump pulling torque.

I have a radar gun and with standard gearing my tmaxx goes 35 mph, with a very well running Dynamite Mach2 .

My revo has a big block RBTM523 and is very fast. I geared it hi last week to see how fast I could get it and it LOOKED really fast. To my surprise  it wasnt much more than 40. Sure it gets to 40 way faster than my tmaxx small block, but 65? that is really really fast for a nitro and you would need a huge peice of real estate to get it to that speed. trust me, i tried the other day lol.

Maybe he was on a mountain heading south lol.

BS just like the jato 65+ out the box BS.My jato will honestly go probably 68 to 71 but i have it geard way not from factory,i'm using a spur off a revo with a RRP 20t c/b,specially for my jato cause the regular c/b wont work with a jato/t-maxx different pitch. The c/b i'm using will work with any revo spur on a jato as long as it's not under 38teeth,it'll fit a t-maxx also and a revo spur could be used. The c/b i'm using also requires 5x11 bearings.A little bigger then the stock c/b jato/max.Problem is you have to buy both the spur 44tooth and c/b 20tooth as a set and it's 27.99 or something.I did it though.W/O bearings.I had extra wheel bearings though.
