I bought a new Transmission Housing and got it all back together. However after running the truck I noticed that it was smoking and smelled of burned plastic. I'm thinking this might be the norm but just want to verify. My old transmission housing has a circular groove where the slipper pressure rests against it. My slipper clutch isn't extremely tight or anything either. oh yeah, my gears are not meshed too tight either... anyone have a thought on this?

Are u sure u have the right tranny housing or the right slipper clutch if your old tranny housing has a groove in it. Maybe u have the wrong slipper setup and its rubbing the new housing.
