I'm pretty sure these will fit on the stock T-Maxx wheels and they look pretty badass. I have heard that putting some tape on the inside of your tires can help with ballooning, never tried it though.

If those tires are ballooning then you need to find the ones you like and gorilla tape them or run thicker diff oil.
I just recently put those 3.8 chevron tires on geode wheels because my embe was destroying everything else.

The stock wheels are 3.8 but they have a 14mm hex so if you get wheels with 17mm hex you will need some hex adapters. For tapping you add some tape to the inside wall of the tire, if you're going to give it a go you might want to order your tires and wheels separately as opposed to pre-mounted. These videos might help you.

You do not need adapters if you get these wheels. You'll also gain an inch of track width.

Maximizer 17mm hexes are 7 bucks. If it were me I'd take advantage of the easy opportunity to switch from 14 to 17.

Whatever tires you go with, when you tape them be sure to turn them inside out and wash them with dawn soap to remove any residual lubricant from the molding process.  Otherwise the tape won't stick.  Gorilla tape works very well.

Geodes are stock on the Summit, and the offset adds 1" to the width.  They are 17mm.

One thing to keep in mind, Traxxas wheels have a square bead that isn't compatible with a lot of tires.  Pro Line makes a traxxas bead for many of their tires.  Badlands and Trenchers are two good bashing tires that are available with a traxxas bead.

I have been pleased with the bashing ability of a stock set of Summit geodes with the Canyon ATs, too.

I know these are street tires and rims, but you can change whichever one, Proline tires are pretty good, they hold up...
