2.5 to 3.3 t-maxx spur gear problems!!help!!

2.5 to 3.3 t-maxx spur gear problems!!help!!
alright to start im new to the forum and RC world
i was givin a traxxas t-maxx 2.5 from my brother. for christmas (he owned it for 2 years never kept up on maintinance hence the upgrades listed below!)
anyways there was alot wronge with tthe truck
so i went threw and replaced a ton of crap
and did some needed upgrades
2.5 to 3.3 (motor was blown)
all standard servers are now the 3.3 waterproof (servos broken)
radio is the new 4 channel traxxas link (just wanted the newer better radio)
front and rear bulkheads (broke 6 sets the first week i had it)
new 3.3 slipper clutch conversion (burned threw 15 2.5 slipper clutch sets)
new 3.3 clutch bell kit (the old one was chewed up)
so to make a long story short i keep eating my spur gears ill incluse a few photos below
but after the conversion over to the 3.3
the motor and tranny are to close to eachother
i also had to modify the gas tank aswell being the screw heads on the slepper clutch would catch on the tank and not spin at all
any ideas on how to fix this would be awsome thanks!!!

they are to close from front to back the spur gear is rubbing on the clutch bell and it shouldnt
it would seem the 3.3 chassis is longer than the 2.5 chassis but just wondering if anyone els has ran into this issue? and if so how they fixed it
