Default help mounting a 150cc violator tank on t-maxx

how do i mount this tank on my T-maxx???

when i bought it i thought it screwed to the bottom, but i need some custom mounts because the holes are on the sides on the tank like 3/4 the way up..........



any one have some pictures on how they did it?????

You can make custom standoffs/posts or use 2 Tmaxx steering posts from the steering bellcrank.

Just position the tank where you want it next to the transmission and drill the chassis for the posts. Most people use the existing rear hole for the battery box and then just drill the front hole.



 



 

If you want to get really fancy, you can do something like this

I usually order 2 or 3 ofna tanks at a time and make sure to get the posts with them. Then I end up making custom posts and throwing the stock posts in a parts box:lol:

Thats a custom chassis I made.
