Default Savage 17mm hex on Emaxx

I'm trying to build a budget friendly Emaxx for my boy and was curious if the Savage stock 17mm hex's can be used on the Emaxx. Thanks!

Have you used them? I wondered if the wheels wobbled more than stock

Use THESE. I have used them a bunch. HPI used them on Savages for a while with the 17mm warlock wheels. They securely hold 17mm wheels no problemo. You can see how the nut has an inside diameter to securely locate the wheel.

Search on ebay for 'Savage 17mm hex' and sets of these will come up.

I didn't notice any difference. I have been using these adapters for years now. I am not saying they are as good as a true 17mm hub, but the price is right and they work fine.
