Tmaxx 2.5 clutchbell/spur gearing... 3.3 clutch?
Wow I haven't been on here forever (since I wadded up my maxx).
Anyway I'm looking into putting her back together but I KNOW the stock 2.5 slipper HATES that picco .28. I saw a kit that will make the 3.3 spur and slipper work on my 2.5 tranny.
My question is what tooth count should I run? Not sure how the 48T spur would work. The different pitch makes it hard to know where to start. Anyone know what would be equal to the stock gearing of the 2.5? There's a way to figure it out but I can't come up with it.
Main reason for going with the 3.3 clutch is availability. The hobby shop doesn't carry Robinson racing's stuff and I don't want to have order and wait for parts if I wear one out.
Any help is appreciated.

Well I can't seem to find the article I used. Lost all my favorites on PC. Did stumble upon this.

On my .21 conversion I used an ofna hardened clutch bell with a 3-shoe clutch and a slipper spur from an MGT. Uses a different pitch/module though so it is not compatable with "t-maxx" gears and such.
