Default tmaxx

did a over haul on my tmaxx 3.3 basically cleaned it up replaced worn parts did not touch the trany when I start it it runs backwards any help what I did

is the truck pull start or still have the ezstart? if pull- is the engine running backwards? a backwards one way bearing could cause the engine to run (though pretty terrible) in reverse.
is your truck stuck in reverse? do you have a FOC on it? is your reverse linkage hooked up correctly and in the correct position?

brand new pull start engine right out of the box this truck has no reverse 3.3 engine tried my picco 26 maxx which I finally got to run more then 30 seconds it does it to

does it have the kit for no reverse or was the reverse servo/linkage removed only? waitt.... you rebuilt your diffs yea? your diffs may be backwards, flip main bevel gear to the other side.

My money is on the diffs being wrong. Can't imagine the engine running backwards, that'd be pretty hard to get it to do, if it would at all.

lol it is possible for them to run backwards, it sounds and runs terrible, but they can run backwards.

Meister....how do you like the picco? Was it a direct fit? Did you do the gear mod necause of it?
Sorry i have been out of the nitro scene for 15 years and just got back in...kinda of excited to see people still talking nitro...appears most forums are dead or are about electric.

Nitro is still talked about quite a bit at RCTech. RC Universe is just fairly inactive in general it seems.

The problem with RCTech is the crowd is [b[incredibly[/b] biased and the majority are racers. There are things spoken as gospel over there that is flat out wrong, and certainly not beginner friendly. Cars are talked about pretty extensively, but mostly race oriented.
