I have a Tmaxx in my garage.....still has the stock 15, FOC and I took the front diff out to lighten the truck up and it jumps even better at the track now. I'll start back moding it out in a few more weeks (or months). Right now I'm concentrating on racing my Dominator. I use the Maxx for jumping and bashing and the Dom for racing. As soon as I get another chassis for the Maxx I'll probably put the extra Hyper 21 in it. If it can get my Dom to haul a**(all 13lbs), I know it will make my Maxx a rocket!!

I already have a Nitro Stampede, which believe it or not kills most of the guys that bring their trucks out to the track here......is it the truck or the driver? hmmmm. When I have time on my hands I try different things with my cars and trucks to see how they perform or just out of curiousity. By making it 2wd (sometimes), its like having a 2 trucks in one (just not at the same time) a Sportmaxx and then when I feel like 4 wheelin; all I have to do is put the front diff and drive assembly back in. Or I can just take my Nitro Quake or Dominator out for a spin. Nothing in My nitro garage is permanent or complete....no matter how many or what type of mod.

I have an old First gen. T-Maxx, that I got a couple years ago. The bumpers were chewed up, so I made someout of scrap Alum from work, also has Alum skid plates, return spring plus a few other minor mods. I was running a KB .18 and ran it ragged, busted the manifold off on a jump, now I have the exhaust stinger out the side and not the bottom.
My new M16 mill is almost broken in, two tanks to go. With a new engine, It also got new Hpi Dirt Bonz tires, on new stock rims( nice an cheap) Had to have a new body too,A proline early 50's Chevy pickup. I like the nostalgic look of this shell and tried to do it justice with a three tone scheme and some chrome, made from HVAC metal tape, working lights head and tail have LED's, I made the headlight buckets from 'Throat lozenge' blister pack.
