tmaxx and emaxx run times?
Hello i was wondering how long is the run time on an emaxx with 8.4 nicad batteries and how long for the nitro t-maxx? Also why do you need ca glue for? I would love to hear from someone!

from a e-maxx with 2 8.4v batteries. it depends on what kind of batteries. 3000 mah beats 1500mah higher mah is the better.. a 8.4v will not last as long as a 7.2v battery.as for a t-maxx it depends on how you drive it. i can drive mine around really slow and let it idle around and it will last 45 min. or if your making wide open high speed runs back and forth 8 min. CA glue is to glue the tires to the rims so the rims dont spin sinside the tire

Thanks for the answer! So i would say the t-maxx have way longer run time then the emaxx. I heard the emaxx only runs for about 5 min at the most. Trying deside what to get. I now see what the ca glue dose. So i guess the tires stay on there forever. I don't think you every have to change the tires anyway. I would be off roading more then anything. No slicks for me.

get the tmaxx its better when you are out of gas just let the engine cooldown and start it up again unlike the emaxx you have to charge both battpacks that are going to take 25m to charge one.

most guys with e-maxx's buy several battery packs and get dual chargers. it cost more but then you can have some batteries charging some running your maxx and some cooling down. then when some go dead just rotate them and it is no more time consuming then letting your engine cool and refill. but its more expensive i like the t-maxx better.

Well if you are new, the T-maxx trx 2.5 engine is a pain in the rear as far as tuning and down times and things wearing out. I dont think an E-maxx has as many difficulties. I like my T-maxx alot tho.. fun truck when its running!
