just a few probs out of the box

the only probs I've had was when I got the tmaxx out readdy for breakin and the reciver battery harness was shorting making batteries very warm . ...... I borrowed a harness and holder from my bro and proceeded with the break in......... then after the 7th tank or so me and my bro were running down at the park . when his spur gear stripped[] about ten min after that mine did the same thing only his was just the gear and mine it melted out the center of the slippr clutches ............ have a robinson steel gear and twin disk set up on its way so life is good ........

RE: just a few probs out of the box

I stripped a spur not long after I got my tmaxx too. I replaced it with a steel one and 12 slipper pegs, havn't had a problem since.
Out of the box, I had a faulty transmitter and a faulty throttle servo, since it was brand new, my LHS replaced them for free.

I believe you supposed to tighten it all the way, then back 1/4 turn.
