Default RE: RE: T-Maxx pics

Here's mine pretty much stock. I do have $250 worth of Integy parts that I ordered 3 weeks ago, friggin things are out of stock. I do have a spider chassis, no installed yet waiting for the other stuff to get here. It's sitting on my cousins Nikko Hummer, and my JRX2 with a Ram Body.

First upgrade just installed.
Just put a THSRacing pipe on my 2.5 stock motor, I have 1 word to say HOLY CRAP! I never realized what a difference a tuned pipe would make, the thing rips it up now, may need a wheelie bar I think. Not to mention it sounds friggin sweeet. Highly recommended.

hey jettman, are those powerline aluminum bulkheads?

your truck has practically the same setup as mine...haha

they look very similar
i will take pictures of mine and post them when i can
i have some homemade shock covers that arent too pretty, but they work well
they are white balloons

Nice trucks everyone, i like them (wish i had the money for all the parts you guys have)
I believe my next upgrade will be a MX-3 FM radio, and then hopefully next christmas will be a sirio .18

Hey Motorsport,

You got that right they're powerline bulkheads.

This is what I've got wrapped up in the T-Maxx

Powerline aluminum chassis braces
Powerline aluminum Bulkheads
RPM skids Front center and rear Blue
RPM Bulkhead braces
RPM Upper and lower A-Arms
RPM 6 spoke clawz wheels Chrome
Pro-Line Masher Tires
Hardcore Racing Titanium Hinge pins
Megatech stell disk brake
Hitec MG-645 Steering servo
And several Stock skid plates LOL

I'm also working on a Parm '56 Chevy Nomad body (All I have left to do is mount it)

Let me know how similar our trucks are. It would be pretty damn funny if they were exactly the same. LOL

Later,
Jettman

Default RE: RE: T-Maxx pics

yeah that would be funny jettman
but there are a few differences
you have blue bumpers and i still have stockers
and my wheels are stock (except my on roaders)
my shock towers and body mounts are blue RPM units and i have blue alum skids instead of RPM ones
but amzingly every other front end piece else is the same (arent we just 2 of a kind)

my steering servo is stock but i want to change that soon and i want a MX-3 radio system

maybe next christmas, maybe when my TRX 2.5 gives out, i'll go for the sirio .18
from what i've heard, it sounds like an engine from heaven

EDIT: I just took some pictures tonight and have to download them to my computer so I can post them.

thanks

here are some pics of my Nomad body.

It's the first body I've done myself. I thought it came out pretty good.

Jettman-How did you mount your RPM skids? I broke mine and I was wondering if you could just use them, or if you had to use the stock one under it? Or could I just use the broken one if I need to use it? Broke my rear skid and both rear bulks on a encounter with a Ford (I lost). How do you like your Proline bulkheads?

I just bought my new tmaxx about 3 weeks ago and I love it.. I will post some pics as soon as I make some time tomorrow...the hop ups so far include:

F-350 body snow camo
Integy piggy back shocks/springs
k/n style intake
dual exhaust (bought off ebay, doesnt do much but make noise)
Trinity sirio .18 pipe and motor along with my 2nd stock motor (yes i have both actually 3 and I actually fried the first motor in one day, im gonna pinch the sleeve but until then its a paperweight) I just swap back and forth from the sirio .18 to the trx 2.5 cuz I hate racing big blocks at the track with my .18.
Robinson racing drilled brakes and pads
Jr XS3 radio / receiver
Jr and Futaba high torque/speed servos
pro line spinners with velocity 6 wheels
duratrax aluminum full body armor skids
forward only conversion
umm I know theres more but the trucks not sitting in front of me right now.
Ohh bowtie dirt tires...hmm ill post the rest when I post the pics.

So, Far I really like them, but to be honest I haven't had the Powerline bulkheads very long so, I couldn't really tell you much about their durability.

As for the Skid plates... You HAVE to use some sort of stock or direct stock replacement skid with the RPM skids. I do have to say that is the one thing I was disappointed in with the RPM stuff. They never really tell you that that's how their skids work.

But, to answer your question yes you MUST use ome sort of stock or direct stock replacement skid with the RPM skids.

A few of mine.

a few of the hop-ups:

MS Air Filter (not pictured)
RPM A-Arms
RPM Carriers
CNC Cooling Head
CNC Chassis Braces
CNC Bulkheads
Monster Power Rx Pack
Graphite Rear Towlinks

Got a few more things I want to put on it. The body on it is my "messin around" body.
