dude, no offense, but that is really sloppy. give me a pair of tin snips and a welder and i could make a kickass one, but that looks really bad. you should trim that and make it straight and nice, and i still dont think it will work.

Iuno.. It looks alot more bootleg than a snow plow. I think putting a thing of sheet metal in the front of the Tmaxx would provide more coverage and plowing power :x

The T-Maxx has plenty of power, no doubt, but it is high end power. Not real good (unless you regear it) at snowplowing.

With a properly designed plow, it is possible to move quite a bit of snow with a RC. A T-Maxx should be able to go through about three inches pretty easily.

Here are some videos.

Thanks. I made my first plow quite some time ago, and I think the very first version wasn't much better than what the first poster in this thread made. I wasn't very happy with how it worked. I kept trying, and the design evolved into what I'm showing here.

It is a very tough design. I had one out yesterday plowing slush, and just general bashing. I can angle it, raise and lower it, and even apply down-pressure. It is still quite lightweight too. The actual plow assembly on the red one weighs about eight ounces.

Well, I am almost done with a complete step by step tutorial that I do want to sell. When I was making the large version on my USA-1, I took over 100 pictures. The plow part of the tutorial is almost 80 pages long, with many of the pictures I took, plus a number of diagrams.

I plan on giving a copy to a local hobby shop owner or two, to review before I begin to sell them.

I think in the future, I could create partial kits, but the tough part is that there are so many different styles and sizes of trucks. I also don't have the funds right now for producing them on a large scale. Trying to create a universal fit plow that behaves as well as these do, would be quite a trick. Partial kits are possible though, with a variety of blade sizes.

I plan on including winterization tips, and tire chain building tips with the tutorial. I plan on distributing them on CD as an HTML (web style) interface, with the actual plans as PDF files.
