Here's mine, the humps are angled so they hang out on the sides. www.onlybatterypacks.com

Here you've got two options from official traxxas site:

[link=http://www.traxxas.com/support/howto/trx_trouble_build7cell.htm]Option 1[/link]
[link=http://www.traxxas.com/support/howto/trx_trouble_build7cell_2.htm]Option 2[/link]

It sais that the EVX can support the seventh cell without problems.

Thanks for all the help guys. I probably didn't ask my question right though- what I would like to do is to use all of my existing 7 cell packs on the Emaxx- they are 6 side by side with on on the end.

Thanks,

the easiest way is to hold other configurations is just to use zip ties or velcro. Or make some kind of custom straps. Or make a custom battery mounting tray underneath the chassis. That's what I've seen on most race ready e-maxxes to lower the center of gravity.
