Well, I got my Supermaxx!!!!
Insted of buying the kit and all of the other parts I would have needed I bought a Top-notch setup on Ebay for allot less cash then it would have cost me in the long run![sm=surprised.gif][sm=sunsmiley.gif][sm=stupid.gif][sm=spinnyeyes.gif]
Supermaxx Stage III ext. chassis
Supermaxx Stage III Suspension
8 Supermaxx threaded shocks
Supermaxx Aluminum Wheels
Supermaxx Servo Saver
Maxx traxx bulkheads and braces
Hardcore Titanium skids
Hardcore brake calipers
Hardcore tranny case
Forward only conversion
2 Airtronics 94358 200oz Servos
Futaba failsafe
Orion Receiver pack
OS CVRX .15 with 10c slide carb
Hardcore Mutant head
Big tube header with Associated pipe
I will be taking off the .15 and putting on a XTM .24-7 Pro and adding UE Ti CVD's!

RE: Well, I got my Supermaxx!!!!
I got it all for $1047 but, there is still money to be spent!LOL I would have spent around $1800 or more for less then what I am getting in this one![X(] The servovs alone cost $100 each! I have to get my XTM .24-7 Pro engine now but, there on backorder![:@] I have a Ofna .25 that will fill-in until I can get one.

RE: Well, I got my Supermaxx!!!!
why you want to go with xtm 24.7 engine?
(i'm not saying it is not a good engine)
if you have the money, then look into something "better" i should say, i.e. Sirio .27, RB .28 or Rossi .21, because that beast deserves more than xtm [>:]
those servos are Futaba right? and what servos are they, give me the numbers on them, and what transmitter?

RE: Well, I got my Supermaxx!!!!
I am a basher at hart and I have seen all kinds of good reports on the XTM. The Pro version is kicking out 2.75hp which is not far off of what those top of the line engines are getting. Granted the rpm's are not as high but, all I need is the low end for what I do anyway! Big Air! he servos are Airtronics 94358 and it is not coming with a radio.

I can't see spending $250-$350 more for an engine that is only getting .25hp more not to mention the cost for re-building one of those engines![X(]

RE: Well, I got my Supermaxx!!!!
I would have to deagree with you there. The fact is that if I were going to race this thing I would without a doubt get the best I could but, for bashing I think it would be a huge waste on such a great engine wouldn't you???

RE: Well, I got my Supermaxx!!!!
I disagree too LOL, the WS7 is a very reliable .21, it is also extremly fast, and awesome acceration!!! Even if I didn't race I would still buy this engine. This summer I may have one for my 1/8 buggy...

I just looked them up again! I still can't see spending that kind of cash on one! LOL I guess if I don't find the XTM to have enough power I will have to do something!
