Man, I went to the LHS cause i was bored and half drunk and i ended up spending 120 bucks on crap.. Well, I ended up buying a body for my REVO which was good but it does not fit. Why you ask, cause its made for a T-MAXX.. O'well, Now, who has made a TMAXX body fit on a REVO is the question.. Anyone done this yet?

Youll need to cut the body post holes out for the revo. Its prolly indented for the maxx? With it already painted, it will be harder to do.

The Atomik bodies fit most truck just fine if you trim and drill them correctly.

Hey man, that body looks just fine, cut on it until it fits, then go beat it up.

Actually, the truth be known, me and the guy I bash with play with the trucks right down the street (walking distance), and it's not uncommon to have a few before we leave the house and go play.

Sometimes I come back literally exhausted from laughing so hard.

And in reality, that is why I play with these things in the first place.

What else did i buy?? I bought a 6-turn elctric motor for my little brother back in San Antonio (60 bucks). And a different clucth bell, more gas, and that body. I think thats all.. Havent looked in the bag. Hell, I could have bought wrong gas, and clutch bell for all I know.


Yea, when your drinkin and Bashing your R/C it can get pretty hilarious.. Or you end up thinking of some really dump ideas, and end up with half your body on and 1 tire missing.. Im pretty carefull when it comes to a 500 + dollar play toy, But man when i start drinking and R/Cin, all rules fly out the window!!

I've done that one a few times but I always remembered ordering the stuff.

And since my LHS is about 8 miles away and closes at 6 during the week and 5 on saturdays, I don't need to worry about going there drunk.

i bid on 2 4wheelers on new years eve and only knew about it when i checked my email a couple days later and found emails telling me that i had been outbid. that was relief.

Well, I got the Body on and it wasnt that hard.. Those bodies are hell to cut though.

Got drunk and did it again.. Tried to run the revo on Friday and the starter wasnt working.. Was so pissed and impatient (due to buzzing, and tunnel vision taking place) I had them fix it at the shop. Had to replace the wire harness were the EZ start plugs in as well (and a gear in the starter). Had them do it.. Well, they started it at the LHS in the back, which i was Yea, time to tear some crap up... Well, I got home and the damn thing would not start.. [:@] The next day i sobered up. Still would not start, took everything back apart and could not find anything wrong.. It would simply turn like 1 RPM and that was it.. Thinking my start up battery is cooked. Went, got a new one, charged it and nothing.. Same thing!!

Well, after making a fool of myself at the LHS, I found out I was putting the battery pack in backwards to start the REVO... Turned plum red i was so imbarassed.. I guess when they put the wire harness in, it was now backwards.. Oh well, You drink, You dont think, You get made a fool of!! oh well.. Alls good now! Now they give me a breath test before i go into the LHS.. LOL.

Why wait? I was in the market for a new truck and was bidding on a 152 usd duratram maximum mt but found a t-maxx on here in the marketplace for 180 usd including 2.5 and everything even spares just needing a radio and reciever so i made an offer on it right away! 180 usd without asking any questions lol. When i got the email telling me my offer was accepted i was thrilled and i emailed the person holding the auction saying i would like to request the cancellation of my bid due to urgent financial matters needing to be dealt with right away. Thinking back imagine if my request was knocked back [X(] I guess the idea of owning a t-maxx enticed me.

I put a hummer body on my revo, I even used the included t maxx body extension. A little persuasion, And VOILA. I've got a killer looking REVO.
