revo?
if so, this happens when u hit something hard or jump / bash and dont land perfect. just remove engine and mount and replace. u can get online at Tower Hobbies or at ur lhs. if it is revo, make sure ur carb air tube didnt move into the spur gear and gash a hole in it. also check that ur spur gear lines up right. its common w/ the revo.

I forgot to mention that the truck does not go into gear when i give it the gas. Does that change anything or is still just replace the mounts?

check the gear alignment. when the motor mount breaks it doesnt match up to the spur gear anymore usually. i have never had anything else happen related, but u never know. however, i have had motor mount break 2x and it caused one chewed up spur gear and air tube once and the other i just had to get new mount to realign the gears and it worked.

I would stay with the stock cast unit. I broke my stock one, bought a machines aluminum one from my lhs and the next major crash broke the ears off of my engine case. The machined motor mount was stronger then the engine case. Just my 2 cents.

I've been running machined engine mounts in my t-maxx trucks for over 4 years with never a broken mount, engine case, or stripped spur/clutchbell. These trucks have run the gamut from a 6.5 lb ,12 powered single speed to a 8 lb 21 powered 2 speed, and all my engines have been high output racing engines.

yeah, id say the machined has to be better but anything is breakable. the stock is pot metal in my opinion. aluminum would be better in this case!
