rb concept tm323
i am looking to get one of these engines, but am wondering what size clutchbell, shoes, springs, and bearings it will use. does it use a 1/8 scale buggy size clutchbell? thanks

It uses the stock setup... it's literally plug-n-play. If you're putting it in a Revo, I would recommend a 16/36 clutchbell/spur gear combo... keep the wheels down and will allow you to use the power of the RB... right now I'm using a 15/36 combo... and it works, but I still pop wheelies like mad

RE: rb concept tm323
i have an O.S. V-Spec, new in the box, just sitting in my tool box. i am having a hard time deciding which engine to use. i like the idea of using the ez-start, and i love RB products, but the qoncepts big block conversion looks nice too, but i have to get another pipe and starter box. both options will cost about the same, and i think both engines will perform superbly on the revo. i don't know what to do. i like the sound of plug and play.

RE: rb concept tm323
did you have to beef up the drivetrain at all? i have been looking, but haven't seen any diff upgrades anywhere, so i am assuming that is not very much of a problem. thanks

RE: rb concept tm323
Only thing I did was install the FOC... it's not required, but it leaves less in the transmission to break. Other than that, I haven't broken ANY drivetrain parts (aside from a spur gear, which was probably due to it already being a bit worn-down)
