I'd get a Revo. That is my personal opinion from owning the Revo and having a friend that OWNED a Mammoth... driving it... breaking it... fixing it... breaking it again... fixing it... breaking it again... etc. ... then sold it to get a Revo.

from what i heard people say about both trucks, i would say go with the revo, fast for racing and durable for bashing.

Mammoth st all the way iv had a n rusty for 5 years now and am finally giving traxxas the boot, dont get me wrong traxxas has their advantages, they are great learning rcs and parts are really easy to find but if you just look at the engineering of the two the mammoth is way better. Traxxas has a tendancy to hide screws that are nessisary and make it very difficult to remove some parts (fuel tank, one way, carb etc) If you just look at the mammoth st you can see that it is over designed things are much bigger than they need to be(chassie brasses, servo mounts and a motor to boot) Every truck has its down sides as well for the mammoth it seems to be the stock servos and the shock towers in some cases for the revo id say the engine being so tempermental is deffinatly a downside and the ez start should have never been invented let alone put in a truck that is always being flung around tracks and off jumps. Traxxas in my opinion has not come out with one single "great" nitro truck, The mammoth likewise has its downsides but at least it doesnt have blocked screws and a tempermental engine out of the box

thats my opinion
