2.5 maxx diff gears better than .15 gen1 maxx gears?
Is it true that traxxas came out with a better ring and pininion? The reason I asked is my old .15 maxx gears are going, and some guys told me traxxas came out with a stronger gear set thats the same in strengther as the RRP ones.

a brand new traxxas set is a whole $9, pack of 6mm shims is ~$2, they'll last longer, and if you've still got a first gen running on the original gears, you're not doing too bad...
