2nd day with RC...1st crash...broken chassis.
Well I was tuning the TMaxx and was doing my high speed passes. I glanced over at my friend who was breaking in his TMaxx (mine was in 2nd gear at full speed) and when I looked back I had turned the truck and it was about 1 foot away from the tire of a parked car....CRASH! $100 later it is back running, new chassis, and several other parts to include shocks. NICE!

Nobody said it's a cheap hobby.
My first big crash.
Savage wot runaway into concrete curb... 4 shocks, a-arms, servo saver, tvp's.
second big crash.
Savage big jump, bad landing...rear a-arms, rear turnbuckles, more tvp's, new engine mount, new engine crancase, new spur gear.
I've got 3 MT's, an on road nitro, two nitro boats, elec planes and a heli so I could go on....& on....
I've given up on keeping track of what I spend fixing and upgrading these things. If I knew I'd probably sell the lot of it BUt I really enjoy working on them and driving them and you cain't take it with ya, right?

Haha exactly, I love this hobby. There's nothing like it, except for the real thing, which you have a one in a million chance of actually getting to do LEGALLY.
Now illegally... thats a whole different story... heheh
Honestly, when do you get to fly around at like 45 MPH on dirt just jumping and spinning donuts.. in a real truck?
R/C.... cant beat it

I found I saved a lot of money in repair parts when I kept my Nitros on the dirt... I always had my most expensive damage running on the street. A lot of immobile objects there...
