removing opti drive
Ok, my friends opti drive is giving us some serious problems. We asked a guy at my lhs and he said you could remove it and still run the truck, just without reverse. I tried to hook it up without opidrive but it isnt working. Does anyone know how to remove the optidrive and stilll make the truck run?

Just remove the optidrive and plug the reverse-servo directly into your receiver. You will still have your reverse but you will also be able to hit reverse while you're still going forward, which will munch your tranny gears so be sure you're always stopped before hitting reverse
