revopqrs,

Nice pics!

Is your body not centered on the chassis? I am not picking just curious. In the last picture it looks like the body sits off the right hand side as you look at the picture. Is this just an illusion or something to do with your set-up? Maybe it's just the bumper off to one side? It looks like the body posts are evenly spaced in relation to the scoop on the hood.

Like I said earlier not picking just wondering. You have some nice looking action shots there and I have always enjoyed seeing pics of your trucks. You definetly build some nice ones.

Additionally, what do you think of those tires? How do they compare to the bowties or crimefighters?

my front bumper is smooshed off to one side... lots of bad landings, that bumper and mount are 2 years old!
the tires are good for loose stuff, they really dig in. but for hard pack id say bow ties or crime fighters would be better. ive got both.
on hard surfaces the badlands kinda float around... but if they can get their fingers dug in they are wicked!

Ah, thanks SIM...music to my ears. looked at your gallery matey, its getting serious yeah...! BTW, the revo looks very nice have you trampled the big race track with it yet or still waiting for the sevo and sensor to come knocking. Nice pics too.

Im getting the 3.3 CF chassis when its more readily available with the FT arms and some other serious parts, strength~PWRatio~set-up should make it a nice little track weapon.

wow...newkid, thats a nice revo! Makes me worry about running mine next to yours there.

Hey thanks Bodhi...yeah, with the new 3.3 chassis, the servo and sensor, the engine mount...mine would be complete and ready to kick with it. I have tried to design the lay out so that I will not have to put any dead weight on it to balance it out on the track, yet with the new chassis...? Im not sure. Ill have to weight it all again on all fours with the micro weighs, see where its at. From left to right its perfect when the servo is in, but front and back with the new chassis, ill have to see when it comes. Peter said I may need a small amount...? Guess ill find out sooner or later hey.

What have you done with your mate...?

What about runtime on a full charge? I know you haven't had a full charge through it, but what would you estimate it at?

MMMmmmm...big block.....Yeah I either want to put a Mr Ninja .28 (when its released), a picco .28 or a modded os 30...? Still have no idea yet. I put some ideas on this thread to get some more ideas: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_47...tm.htm#4743295

But this is for a much later project after I race with it....

Right now I replaced all the steel parts on this revo with CF, titanium adn alum hex nuts...with only a few steel bolts here and there for the more strategic areas. All the u-joints, axle stubs, pins etc have been replaced for weight and strength. Its killer.
