RE: REVO PICS(POST YOUR REVO PICS HERE)
ok i run
RPM a-arms died forest green
integy long travel rockers
integy piggey bakc shocks
modified stearing bellcrank and bell crank stopper thing
and i reacently added traxxas long travel tubes
and the proline aluminum steering arm.
My set up is just 60 wt in the rear and 50 wt in the front, and two 30 pound springs. I am running hte highest position on the a-arms and other then that every thing is the same? Althoe i do have 2 washers, likethe ones you would use to shim your clutch, on the bottom of my rockers, it keeps dirt from slowing them down and there was a little bit of play. The aluminum rockers make the truck handel the bumps better, atleast it seams like it has less problems wiht recoil and such. And i can't remember my toe in or anything like that.

RE: REVO PICS(POST YOUR REVO PICS HERE)
well i will test it wedsday, cause i just got my 4wd in and all my other new parts in, now i just have to put my sirio back together ad make sure all systems are go, and am going to go out nad have a VERY hard bash sesion, one of my big goals is ot tst out my jumps, and when i was brakeing in my new 2.5 recently, i could realy jump it, but i did a few times on the high speed passes, but i havn't used the bigjump yet, and i asdded a table top and i burntdown all te grass an weeds so its all real smooth dirt, so it should be alot of fun.Oh hand drifiting montana style, thats right, spining 40mph dough nuts in parking lots wiht a rc car is insain fun.
Ohh man i can't wait, i haven't driven in over 2 WHOLE MONTHS!

Mine are made from plastic for weight reasons. I have hit these babies hard on rocks, curbs ,stumps, and they haven't even come close to breaking. Also they block dirt from flying all over the inside of the truck.

Hi all, i figured this would be the right place to post this, since it's all pics and stuff. I don't mean to interrupt your conversation about skids, but i need a favor from someone with a half-decent digital camera (3-4 mp or more). I play this game called 4x4 evo 2, and you can make trucks for the game in a program called Z Modeler. well, im at the stage where im putting the colors on it, and i need some higher resolution pics than the ones i've managed to scrounge up on the net.
If anyone's interested, PM me for the details. I'll be sure to credit you for the pics.
Here's some of the work i've done already:

To bad they don't make a decent rc driving sim. I asum you want pictures of peopsls parts on trucks right?

RE: REVO PICS(POST YOUR REVO PICS HERE)
I have the game for PC, and i think you'll find that there is a huge community that has grown from this game due to it's expandability. the main site that i go to is www.vales.com/evo2 , there are thousands of trucks and tracks there for download. So far tho, i've only found a couple RC cars (a crappy version of the EMaxx, and a Losi XXT)
So, i've decided to go through the most popular trucks out there and model them all for this game. they'll be trucks like, of course, the Revo 3.3, Savage, LST, and probably some on-roads too, like the RS4, or the 4-Tec.
Im focusing on the Revo 3.3 right now, and all i need is a pic each of the right side, left side, front, rear, and top, all of the body only, with a white background, and all the stock decals. i also need a pic of the bottom with a black backgound, and the suspension arms, motor, and all other parts intact. This is my first truck im making in Zmod, so it's going to be fairly simple. the parts on the truck (except for the bumpers and the cooling head) will be simulated using textures. Also, some pics of the stock tires with a black background would be good too.
My next trucks will be more complicated as i get better at using the program.
So, that's what i need, so if you could maybe post up some of those, or PM me about them, that would be greatly appreciated

Ya, around 1 lb/hp is pretty good for the complex tracks i play - if the truck is set up properly, and tuned well using the .trk file to adjust traction, torque curve, suspension articulation, overall weight, wheel location, steering scale (essentially rear-wheel-steer, this is needed for really high-hp trucks), and w/e else u can think of.
Is it possible to access those kinds of things on a gamecube? If not, i would recommend getting the game for pc. it's aging, but very easy to use, the multiplayer is excellent IMHO, since it's one of the few games that i've found that will run on a dialup connection, and as i said, it is very expandable. I have in excees of 100 downloaded tracks, and over 50 "aftermarket" trucks on there. Trucks and tracks come in file formats, one big, one small. the bigger versions start around 1 mb and go up from there (biggest one i've seen is 18 mb).
Ahhh, i could go on for hours, but you guys don't wanna hear that, so i'll let you get back to ur discussion on A-Arm skids. But, SC, do you still have a stock Revo 3.3 body to take pics of? If not, that's fine, im sure someone out there does

I live where half the year is winter, I was wondering if you can drive any kind of nitro RC on compact snow, or will it wreck it?

Hey crazytrain. You can run them as long as you waterproof them with balloons or plastidip. Check out my Ski-Vo..
