nope, its a .20 the inside diameter of the sleeve is larger, though it has a nice head on it factory from what it looks like, just spend the 20 bucks and get yourself a temp. gage, one of the best things i ever bought...

RE: T-MAXX 3.3
thats too hot, I always stop driving immeadiatly if I see it that hot, then let it idle or drive around slowly for a mintue or two for it to cool. comes right down, this is with my old 2.5 that got shipped out this week, trading it and some cash for the new tmaxx 3.3 in the box, but yeah too hot for sure, a few questions, is half or all of the windshield cut out of the body, and have you tried tuning it to run cooler, traxxas motors always run hot but not that hot, mine hovered around 235-240 with my 2.5...try those things and let us know...

RE: T-MAXX 3.3
I saw a 3.3 Maxx today.. along with an Xray N18 car.. I must say I cant really see amny changes.. except the obvious. Looked like another Maxx to me. The 3.3 isnt anything special either... I thought it was a 2.5r Maxx, until I saw the 3.3.. I also saw Savvy X and a Helfire..
Anyways.. the err.. Maxx 3.3 doesnt look too impressive people.. I'd go with the REVO 3.3 if I were you guys.
(no offense to who bought it)

RE: T-MAXX 3.3
well you must not know t-maxxs to well, they changed alot, the whole driveline is all new, bulkheads and shock towers are stronger, body posts are different, differet axle carriers(off the revo), the driveline is all revo now, basically they took the good parts of revo and put it with th e good parts of t-maxx, I love the t-maxx(for everything but racing) if you arnt racing get a t-maxx, if you are then get a revo, or better yet get a truggy which is made for track use and will smoke the revo...

Spent 1400 on the gaming PC I built about 4 months ago. Athlon 64 3800, MSI sli motherboard. GeForce 7800 GTX video card,2 gig of OCZ high performance RAM, 550 2.0 Power supply, 160 GB WD SATA Hard Drive. It adds up when you want top of the line. Same as RC.

Eh, i dunno, im looking into to the tmaxx more than i am into the revo. the revo just seems to race oreinted and not as much rectreational. and like vertical3-d and Gt Racer said, they changed a lot so i dunno, im not sure myself. oh and i gotta question from a few posts ago, at what temp. do you guys stop ur engine if it has overheat?

RE: T-MAXX 3.3
yeah, seriously they changed alot of it, like i said best things about the revo are now on the t-maxx, its an easy truck to wrench on, and for just running around for fun in the rough stuff a t-maxx wouldnt have a problem keeping up with it, its very well suited to the track, yet you still see loads of t-maxxs racing...

RE: T-MAXX 3.3
the 2.5 wasnt a bad truck at all, everything has certain problems, thats why there so much aftermarket stuff for everything in this hobby, the originals were not the best things i have ever seen though, this 3.3 will be my third maxx, one from all three generations, and they have come leaps and bounds, from my expieriences with them.

RE: T-MAXX 3.3
I was over at my LHS, I finally talked the manager (my buddy) to opening a 3.3 T-maxx and setting it out on display, well we couldnt stop there, he nor I have ran one yet, we took it out back and fired it up and made a couple of passes without breaking it in, it is just a display so it's not going to get sold, overall I am impressed, it's got some mean power and torque and it looks great in person!

RE: T-MAXX 3.3
idk, theres still nothin like an OS to me, dependability is key i think, you wanna have fun, not get pissed off when you gotta spend time gettin it to fire, when you go to the track you wanna race, not work on it, i know i will get hell for that comment but thats what i think.

RE: T-MAXX 3.3
he should break it in properly now, if there were only a few passes then it shoudlnt have done to much harm to it, break it in and then he can show it off to would be buyers to seal the deal on buying a new truck, glad to hear its running awesomely, mine shipped today and will be here before the weekend most likely, cant wait.

RE: T-MAXX 3.3
well my 3.3 maxx will be here by the weekend or should if ups gets something right, I also ordered a fantom works nickle plated pipe for it, after eading about pipes these steel fatom hand built ones seem to be the best, it was 54 w/shipping off ebay, anf they are over 60 new where I found them and thats w/o the shipping, I hope it helps it out a whole lot, too much power....not possible....
