If you've got the 2.5 Maxx....

If you've got the earlier .15Pro, you'll need a different header..... If you cant figure out where to get Nylon tie wraps, Indecline099 might remember where.....bbbbwwwwaaaahhaaaaaaaa

RE: pipe t-maxx pipe
Man, I've been looking all over this forum for this topic. I have a O.S. .18cv-rx in my T-Maxx. It came with the Pro .15. I have since installed a Associated off-road pipe. It's the blue torque pipe. Is this pipe OK with this engine. Or, should I upgrade to a different pipe and header for the .18 displacement? I just don't think the .12-.15 pipe is sufficient. Would drilling the stinger make a difference?

Which header is it? Part # if you possibly have it. I can't seem to find one shaped properly to fit the T-Maxx on Tower's site. I do already have the torque pipe. Thanks.
Never mind, I just found it. Thanks anyway. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXAXN1&P=7

RE: pipe t-maxx pipe
hmm i dont think so. but if u have the long assocciated pipe (the one with the stinger at the end) it will not fit unless u cut some of the header or pipe off. Or you could get a little hanger so the pipe hangs up a little bit. This was u can use the long pipe and not have to cut anything. this is what i did:

Mine is set up almost identical to that now. My pipe is blue and doesn't have the hanger mount at the tip. How does yours do? I am still breaking in my .18CV-RX, so I'm haven't seen the full potential of the engine yet. Thanks for the help.
