Im pretty sure its probly your battery, but it could be that the engine is binding up somehow. Is it a new engine or how long has this been going on? More details please.

How long have you owned the truck? Has the motor been broken in yet or has it been broken in for awhile and just recently started to do this?

Sound like a weak / bad starter battery pack. I use a set of IB 2/3A size 1400 mAh cells in mine to reduce the weight by 8 ounces and I can get well over 30 starts without a problem.

Check and make sure all contacts are clean and especially the ones on the starter motor as they have a habit of getting lose and dirty.

Those shark batteries are ni-cd right? if you don't discharge them fully before you charge them they never charge fully again.

if someone around you has a t-maxx also and you know him then go test it on his t-maxx... if it does the same thing then it is your battery.
