Default RE: REVO RACIN' THREAD

hey west you need a center diff i just got rid of mine my car was 10mph slower a little asier to handle but it was like front wheel drive . center diff has a longer shaft that allows rear brake but the rear brake setup has a design fault which does not have enough thread for the mounting screws ...dont bother traxxas have been aware of this and have done nothing about it my brand new platinums rear brake lasted about a week then the screws fell out i have since converted to wide ratio forward only and now the car hammers faster than ever

are you using the stock gearing with the close ratio? ive been thinking about doing the close ratio because the track i race is pretty tight with only one real straightaway.

i have a question for all the revo guys, i bought the foward only conversion and put together and im having problems w/ the brake that is, the shaft that came with it is too short it seems as the it does not allow the drive shaft back on the brake is in the way. i took the disc off and the brake pins hit the trans before the hole line up??? did i need to get something else or what?
in addtion to this i found the bag it came in and the part # is TRA5195, so i dont know if theres a difference in a 2.5 or 3.3 but i googld it and came up as a tmaxx kit.so are the the same????

Racing has died down in most places do to people going back to school and being at their kids sporting events. There is only two really big racing events for MT's and thats RC Pro and Diggers Dungeon (not racing just bashing but still a big event).
