Define destroying the glowplugs? Is the filament coming off? What color is it? Is it wet?

Factory setting are only a starting point for tuning. You need to tune for performance.

sorry for the lack of info. i dont have a temp gun i cant help you there. the glow plugs just stop working, one of them was distorted. there all dry well i do wait a few hours to let engine cool. some where brown and some where silver. me and my dad have tried tuning it but when we do it starts acting up. eg: cutting out at high speed, wont change gear etc hope this helps.

p.s. i have one other problem from a stand still if i give it full throttle its makes a muffled nosie and gose no where?
