Default First tank of break in done, but.

I got in a corner and I needed to back out so I hit reverse and it wouldn't work (I was completely stopped, because I took the optidrive out) it worked once or twice but when i was in forward or reverse sometimes even when the shifting servo shifted, it stayed there, any ideas? The picco is a piece of cake to break in, started first time and every time it stalled (twice) I am looking forward to that 5th tank, let the wheelies begin.

I did take the opttidrive out, before I ran it. My name is Trent too, going to do the second tank of break in now.

My T-Maxx will not shift if it has pushed up against something. The preasure on the drive train binds the tranny/shift mechinism and won't let it shift. I've not been in a Revo tranny yet so don't know if that applies to it too. Just throwing out an idea.

I worked out what it was, it shifts but it takes a few seconds to engage, I finished break in, it has ridiculous power, mickey flips without me even wanting to LOL I stripped the spurgear, a rock got into it earlier and the end of break in blast finished it off so it might be on the shelf for a week or so.....

You have to engage the brakes for at least 2 seconds before it will shift to reverse.

You don't have to engage the brakes to shift into reverse or forward. Come to a complete stop and hit the switch. Give it a second to engage and you will be good. If it doesnt want to engage, turn down your idle. If you are idling too high it will never switch.

My point was that you have to come to a complete stop for a couple seconds.

You dont have to stop at all. My tmaxx would hit reverse while driving, but never driving over 2 mph. It was cool, i would shift from reverse to forward while it was rolling and the thing would just backflip!

The revo wont do that rawk.... I am amazed at the power the picco has, I was running rich and it would jump off it's wheels hit it's lid and bounce back up.
