Perfectly said. When the baja came out I was so amazed I stared at it for like 4 days. But I started to realize the pro's and con's of each. If you wanted to make a gas powered revo then it would be huge and cost what $2,000?

If the Baja was 4WD, i'd be MUCH more inclined to purchase it over a Revo. Baja's need room to, you won't be backyard bashing or track racing with a Baja thats for sure.

Why aren't they 4WD and why is that such a factor?

Because it's a buggy, which are 99% rwd, they are made for a different purpose than trucks. And if you really need to ask me why 4wd is cool, here's a small example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hr0ID...elated&search= .

I'm afraid I'm at work and Youtube is banned. I will watch it once I get home.

Likely cost and reliability would be the main reasons for no 4WD. You ever driven 4WD vs 2WD R/C cars? If not, I can't explain it to you.

the baja is quite cool but i just dont want to spend 1000 dollars on something i may never use or other wise break. Just not worth the risk to me, ill stick with watching videos of owners who happily own them

baja is just another piece of junk by hpi im an hpi owner and i disapoited with the quality on their stuff i bought the hpi rs4 18ss its the most unreliable car i have ever drive and then 2 months later i bought the himoto rapida (same as redcat racing) and the himoto is even better than the hpi for the money it cost the only good thing HPI has is the transmiter TF-1 and its made by futaba it just have the hpi logos and another thing about hpi their parts like the crankcase for the 18ss i crack it and they discontinued so i got a $134 motor that i cant fix thanks to hpi for discontinuing stuff every 3 months.

TRAXXAS is the only way to go !!!
the i shut had buy a traxxas 4-tec instead of that RS4 junk.

REVO the best off road rc vehicle out there!!

I have a 3.3 revo and 2.5r t maxx my t maxx breaks alot but is easy fix. the revo is impossible to break but hard to work on[]. the revo is better balanced and has better suspension[sm=thumbs_up.gif]
so if you are not on a budget go for the revo
